The Correct Manner of Seeking Islaamic Knowledge

Question: Noble Shaykh – may Allaah protect and preserve you – I have a desire to seek Islaamic knowledge; I hope you can explain the correct manner of seeking Islaamic knowledge, and (may) Allaah grant you good?
Answer: The manner of seeking Islaamic knowledge is clear; It is upon you to seek knowledge from the Scholars, those of the Salafee methodology, and beware of those of the innovated methodologies. So if you (really) want the advice, then you should not approach them, rather, go to the people of knowledge who teach the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and the correct Salafee ‘Aqeedah and start with that which is the most important and then move on to that which is (less) important (in order
